Pudji Lestari
About
I am dedicated to sharing the transformative power of yoga with both adults and children, fostering a holistic connection between the body, mind, and spirit. My yoga journey began in a humble apartment, a space that ignited my inner exploration. Now, I aim to guide every student in discovering their personal yoga sanctuary and falling in love with the practice.

The heart of "Bilik," translating to room in Indonesian, embodies the idea of cultivating a personal space within, where one's yoga practice flourishes and tranquility resides.

My teachings encompass Hatha, Pre-natal, Post-natal, Intro to Ashtanga, and Vinyasa Flow, emphasizing mindful movements,
Pranayama breathing, and alignment.

My education includes a 500-hour Certification with Yoga Alliance from The Mindful Body San Francisco and Jason Crandell Yoga Method. I've accumulated over 800 hours of training, including Ashtanga Yoga under the guidance of Diana Christinson. Additionally, I am a Registered Children's Yoga Teacher
with a Trauma-Informed Focus through Yoga Ed.

All levels are warmly welcomed, and I invite you to
reach out for private or group classes.
Let's embark on this yoga journey together!

What people are saying
The first day I walked into Pudji's class,
I knew she would be my teacher.
Her ability to connect with a positive, empathetic, and patient energy was what I was looking for. More than anything her attention to safe alignment sealed it for me. She takes time for me to get to know my body, and her classes move at a pace that allow me to flow with a strong awareness of breath and alignment.
I am a late bloomer to yoga. I started in my late fifties, and now in my sixties I feel stronger, more flexible, and willing to challenge myself even further than I imagined. Pudji has offered a space for this physical growth, and what comes with that is an overall sense of well-being.
I am thankful to her confidence in me, and her encouragement towards new challenges
Mairead Kiernan, San Francisco
Beginner to yoga. I have been practicing with Pudji for over two years now. She knows human anatomy and really understands what my body needs with each practice. I used to have chronic pain in my legs and feet due to a lower back issue. I can say that with practice, I have been so much better.
Pudji is a dedicated teacher who is 100% present in mind, body and spirit during class.
Pudji has helped me to really listen to my body, mind, emotions and even personal relationships.
She is not just my yoga teacher but also my physical therapist, personal trainer, psychologist and a dear friend.
I am very grateful to have her as my guru.
